About Us

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are" – that’s the mindset that fueled our start. A year ago, we didn’t wait for the stars to align; we believed that our beginning would shape the perfect path forward. So, in January 2019, we opened our first café at Manewada Square, Nagpur, and it didn’t take long for the city's youth and the young at heart to claim it as their go-to hangout. Fast forward to today, LOC has grown into 25+ bustling branches, serving more than thousands of visitors daily, and becoming one of the most exciting spots in town!

LOC to people is a “hangout” spot where people connect, make conversations, and have a whole lot of fun over steaming cups of great tea and snacks that complements it. Our customers have made us who we are today and we're glad to be a part of their lives.

We make sure everything we do is through the lens of humanity. We are devoted to supporting local vendors and youngsters too who want to start their entrepreneurship journey. It’s been an exciting journey since then to becoming the largest organized retail café chain in Nagpur city.

At the helm of this team, are two passionate co-owners. Indeed, the partners, Shubham Dabre and Ujjwal Sahare share a true love and passion for crafting amazing tea.'

    • Shubham Dabre DIRECTOR AND CEO, LIFE OF CHAI.PVT. LTD

      Shubham, one of the masterminds behind the success of LOC, an alumni of one of the best technological institutes of Maharashtra, VJTI Mumbai, after working in a well-known construction firm for a couple of years soon realized and was deeply moved by the quote “ Don’t just aspire to make a living, but to make a difference”. This ignited his mind to explore and realize his strengths. Blending his skills and vision, he chose to make a difference by serving tea—his own version of Amrit.. Shubham shares his vision for the business as: “It's my duty to create a warm and vibrant space for our customers, where quality products are served in a simple yet divine way in order to awaken their taste buds.

  • Ujwal Sahare DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER, LIFE OF CHAI.PVT. LTD

    Meet our other founder, who seamlessly juggles the intricate mechanical workings of our café with hands-on, on-ground duties. With a keen eye for detail, he ensures that every machine hums perfectly, while also being present where it matters most – interacting with guests, overseeing daily operations, and solving any issues on the fly. His unique blend of technical expertise and personal touch not only keeps everything running smoothly but also infuses every aspect of the café with a genuine sense of care and dedication.
